I played a game of RoboRally a few weeks back where a player&amp;#39;s placement of his pawn inadvertently covered a wall at the edge of the space he was on, and once revealed this blew my carefully conceived plan to smithereens! This was just an accident of piece placement in that case; in your game, having to remind players &amp;quot;yes, that is a park under the score track&amp;quot;, or &amp;quot;yes, those spaces are connected by that bridge under the white piece on that track there&amp;quot; will be much more frustrating for players -- especially if you send it out for a blind playtest -- than if just avoid the problem altogether by moving those tracks to a different part of the board.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/20978354/7278749918868333736/comments/default/1145773686089587377'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/20978354/7278749918868333736/comments/default/1145773686089587377'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.gamedesignerwannabe.com/2010/07/draft-of-combined-board.html?showComment=1278598905386#c1145773686089587377' title=''/><author><name>Jeff</name><uri>http://jwarrend.blogspot.com</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img1.blogblog.com/img/blank.gif'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.gamedesignerwannabe.com/2010/07/draft-of-combined-board.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20978354.post-7278749918868333736' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/20978354/posts/default/7278749918868333736' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-198925380'/></entry></feed>
