One of the lessons I learned from DexCon was about signage. Before I reveal what I learned, I wanted to find out what other people think would happen. Above is a picture of my demo table at the convention. It was flanked by a different sign on each side. You can also see the full size photo.
My question is: What do you think the reaction to these two signs would be?
Please let me know in the comments. Thanks.
P.S. I'll be sending out the first VHG newsletter in a couple of days, so go here and sign up on the right.
I guess it's not hugely necessary, but I expected to somewhere see "A New Game by Michael Keller".
ReplyDeleteThe most immediately noticeable thing on your signs is "You for Mayor", which, while catchy, doesn't clearly say what you want it to say, namely, "this is my new, awesome game, 'City Hall' and you should play it". I bet some people might have been confused as to what exactly you were advertising.
